ArtForm is a full-service digital marketing agency specializing in strategic marketing, advertising, creative production, web, SEO, analytics, HubSpot, and AI-enhanced marketing.

We work with government contractors, associations, federal agencies, and organizations that need smart strategy, strong execution, and clear communication.

Our team is collaborative, fast-moving, and primarily remote. For this role, candidates must be based in the Washington, DC metro area and live in Maryland or Virginia. While much of the work can be done remotely, this person needs to be available for occasional in-person meetings, client support, production needs, and team collaboration in the region.

Position Overview

ArtForm is seeking a Marketing & Production Lead to bring structure, momentum, and creative thinking to both client work and ArtForm’s internal marketing and production efforts.

This is a hybrid role for someone who understands marketing, creative production, client service, and execution. The right person will manage project flow, coordinate client and internal deliverables, support marketing and production strategy conversations, and play an important role in the growth of ArtForm’s production division.

It also includes campaign thinking, creative judgment, production planning, messaging support, and collaboration with strategists, creatives, developers, advertisers, and production partners.

The person who thrives here will enjoy connecting ideas to action.

What You’ll Do

Project Management & Client Coordination

You’ll keep work organized, clients informed, and internal teams clear on what needs to happen next.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing assigned client and internal projects from kickoff through completion

  • Creating and maintaining timelines, task lists, milestones, and deadlines in Monday

  • Turning client needs, meeting notes, and strategic direction into clear internal assignments

  • Coordinating work across strategy, creative, web, SEO, advertising, analytics, and production teams

  • Tracking approvals, feedback, revisions, blockers, dependencies, and next steps

  • Preparing agendas, meeting notes, recap emails, and action items

  • Communicating timelines, questions, updates, and expectations clearly with clients and internal teams

  • Flagging scope concerns, delays, or project risks early

Creative Production

You’ll coordinate production work for both clients and ArtForm’s own marketing. This may include video, podcasting, photography, interviews, webinars, social content, and related creative assets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating client-facing production projects from planning through delivery

  • Supporting ArtForm’s internal production needs, including agency marketing videos, thought leadership content, AI workshop promotion, social media content, and brand storytelling

  • Assisting with production planning, including concepts, scripts, interview questions, shot lists, schedules, logistics, and post-production timelines

  • Working with producers, editors, designers, strategists, and clients to keep production work organized and on schedule

  • Reviewing production deliverables for completeness, clarity, and alignment with project goals before client delivery

  • Creating and improving repeatable production processes, templates, packages, and workflows

  • Contributing ideas for growing ArtForm’s production division as a stronger service offering

Marketing & Advertising Support

You’ll work closely with ArtForm’s strategy, advertising, creative, and content teams to keep marketing projects moving with purpose.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating marketing deliverables such as campaign assets, ads, emails, landing pages, social content, reports, presentations, and client-facing materials

  • Supporting both client marketing initiatives and ArtForm’s own marketing efforts

  • Asking smart questions to keep projects aligned with client goals

  • Collaborating with strategists to connect creative and production work back to campaign direction, audience needs, and measurable outcomes

  • Bringing thoughtful creative judgment to marketing and production work

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means projects are organized, clients are informed, internal teams have clear direction, and production work runs more smoothly.

The right person will bring calm, clarity, and momentum to the team. They will reduce loose ends, catch issues early, and keep work moving without losing sight of strategy, quality, and client goals.

They will also strengthen ArtForm’s production division by creating better systems, clearer offerings, and more consistent internal and client-facing production.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 5+ years experience in marketing, advertising, creative production, or agency project management

  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple projects at once

  • Experience coordinating creative, video, podcast, campaign, web, or content projects

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to turn conversations, requests, and ideas into clear next steps

  • Comfort working with clients and internal teams

  • An understanding of marketing channels such as digital advertising, social media, email marketing, websites, video, podcasting, and content marketing

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Creative judgment and the ability to recognize when something needs more clarity, polish, or direction

  • Familiarity with Monday or similar project management platforms

  • Comfort working in a remote-first team environment

  • Residency in Maryland or Virginia within the Washington, DC metro area

  • Availability for occasional in-person meetings, production needs, and client-related activities in the DC region

This Role Could Be a Strong Fit If You:

  • Like bringing structure to creative work

  • Enjoy working with both clients and internal teams

  • Can move between strategy conversations and detailed follow-through

  • Know how to keep projects moving without creating unnecessary noise

  • Are comfortable asking questions, clarifying next steps, and documenting decisions

  • Care about quality, client experience, and team communication

  • Get energy from creative production, marketing, and making things happen

  • Are based in the DMV area and value the flexibility of remote work with occasional in-person collaboration

This Role May Not Be the Right Fit If You:

  • Want only high-level strategy without responsibility for coordination and delivery

  • Prefer not to manage timelines, details, documentation, or follow-up

  • Are uncomfortable communicating directly with clients

  • Do not enjoy working across multiple types of projects at once

  • Prefer a role with narrow responsibilities and little variety

  • Are not located in Maryland or Virginia within the Washington, DC metro area

We want people to thrive here. We also want to be clear about the foundation of the role: ownership, communication, follow-through, and production coordination are essential.

Why This Role Matters

ArtForm is growing its production capabilities and needs someone who can bring structure, creative thinking, and marketing understanding to that growth.

The right person will not just manage tasks.

They will create momentum.
